He likes writing for film for the same reason that he likes writing songs: to tell a story.
By the end of 2009 Russell had written several soundtracks and then arranged them into the soundtrack suite Dreams Without Pictures, published in 3 catalogs and available on CD and as digital downloads from Amazon, iTunes, etc.
His second soundtrack CD, A Parallel Universe , was completed in the following year and is now available from Amazon and iTunes. It contains genre-specific "songdbeds" - music that can be cued as instrumentals and also tracked as accompaniment for vocal songs.
As the vocal versions emerge, they are being made available as exclusive releases to Russell's email contact list - see Contacts.
Russell works from a fully equipped Home Studio with final mix and mastering at top local studios, and looks forward to providing the soundtrack to great visions.
